Useless service and attitude from store manager

WHY, is it too much effort, to have have a sufficient amount of cashiers open during peak traffic times? People queuing into the isles , at BOTH the express tills and normal tills. 1 out of 3 cashiers open at express tills. 4 out of 10 cashiers open at the normal tills, with only SOME of them accepting cash.

Then when the store manager is asked politely to open more cashiers, his response is attitude and that people must just be patient, as it will normalize again after the busy rush!!

This is at Checkers Kyalami Corner. Where it is a constant problem, also 60sixty pickers having zero regard for other shoppers!!
