Unprofessional management and poor customer service
This afternoon I went to Checkers in Lifestyle Centre Centurion to purchase a hot water bottle. When I got there a water bottle of R90 was labelled with a price tag of R60 I even took a picture to avoid conflict then I called a lady by the name of Brenda as my witness, when I went to pay Brenda proceeded to remove it. When I got to the tills I explained to the Cashier and she told the packing lady to go check , I went back with her both Anna and I saw that Brenda had removed it , my I still had my picture as proof. A manager by the name of Phumzile was called to assist, the situation was explained to her and her response to me was where's the price tag and she asked me where that was Brenda? So I'm supposed to know where one of her staff member was. Then she proceeded to tell me that she won't change a price tag of something she now saw despite me showing her my proof. I'm sicked by their service. With an apology and a decent conversation this could have been avoided. I wish we knew how to treat each other respectfully and also realise that these a difficult times and we should respect our customers as they are paying our salaries. Or perhaps should be given training on that. By the way I too work in retail so I'm truly disgusted with the treatment given.
