Unhygienic and unacceptable. Not following OHS laws!

Yesterday the 21st of January 2019, my wife and i went to the Checkers Bryanpark store in Bryanston. We went to the bakery section to get cheese rolls, the staff member that helped us was barefoot! No shoes! This is unacceptable, unhygienic and against the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 0f 1993. How can staff that are working in a bakery with industrial equipment not wear shoes!? Safety shoes to be precise! This clearly shows that the OHS Act is not being followed and in turn is *******!

I work in food industry as well the Health and Safety Industry, So i do know what the legalities are when it comes to such. I would like someone from Checkers head office to please call me and explain to me why the staff are not wearing the correct PPE and why the said staff member was bare foot! Please use the cameras in store to identify the staff member.

This is not first scenario i have had with the Bryanpark, Bryanston outlet. I have had a few issues in the past, but being barefoot and serving customers bake products in a commercial franchise outlet is disgusting and unacceptable! I will be lenient and await a response before i take this matter further!
