Unhelpful service

On the 06/08/2016, I went to Checkers Hyper Brookside mall, pmb, to do shopping. I had a bad experience. Firstly no stocks of low fat Paramalat yogurt that was advertised, only had medium fat. When I requested from a Indian male staff member to speak to a manager, he came back to me saying there is no manager in the front and I must go to the front of store and request. I told him to page for hime and he just turned and left.

Secondly, at the till the cashier did not greet or smile. I had to tell her to give me a packet when I was putting items on counter. A cashier should greet and smile and then ask if you like a packet before scanning. When I noticed a box of fish was damaged I request if she could call someone to swop it as I was in a hurry and someone was waiting for me in the car, thuis I could complete the transactions I had to do. She stubbornly sat there and continue scanning instead of callingsomeone. So many staff walked passed incl frm the kiosk where bills are paid. She was dis interested. I told her to ring her buzzer, she took time to do it and no supervisor came to her. I had to leave the till point to look for a manager, i then found a white lady who then came to till and went to swop it out. This white lady, a manger did not bother to apologise or ask what I am not happy about. The cashier did not even say thank you when she finished. I r contacted the store Mr Reddy who then got the admin mgr to phone me, The admin mgr said she saw the cameras and it was unacceptable of the cashier. But it was not only the cashier attitude but other people at the store incl. Mr Reddy not bothered take accountability and responmsiblty of complaint instead of passing it to admin mgr. He is store mgr and shld hve sorted my proble. Yesterday I was going through my July bank statement I noticed on 22/07/16, a cashier put a transaction on budget. I never use budget as it causes interest. The cashier should find out first before pressing the wrong buttons. Staff need to be trained on customer service.

Checkers do not care about their customers. No response to my complaint as yet.
