Unhelpful and unconcerned staff

When I got to the Sta Soft isle, there is a promotion stating 5 Sta Soft refill fabric conditioners for R99. There was no exclusion written, as in excel. Aroma Therapy. So I asked one of the staff members, who in turn asked the Stock Counting Clerk or manager, didn't read the whole tag of this lady. So I requested that may they please display a proper worded paper stating excl. Aroma therapy for other people. Both these ladies just ignored me and started with a conversation different from what I was requesting.

Now my question is, because this left me very uncomfortable, am I being ignored because I'm a woman or even worse that I'm a black person? There is a tendency amongst the staff, even from other Checkers stores, that different races are treated differently. I could not help but feel that is was as if the superior lady looked at me silently saying :Why are you complaining? Why must we be treated this way? It's disturbing. What I suggested was a simple request. The least that any of these 2 ladies could have said was that they will inform Management. That's all.
