UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

I'm so disappointed. I sent an e-mail to Checkers customer service requesting for proof of payment for 31/10/2020. My Xtra savings card no is ***.

I bought my groceries at The Ridge Checkers Hyper, in Shallcross on 31/10/2020 around 16:00 pm, spent R2000 +... 1 of the item I bought was Mutton Bangers which was about R70, expiry date was 1/11/2020. Did not really check the date, as I have never returned any meat at Checkers, their meat is always fresh. And I threw away my till slip because I ddnt know the bangers were spoiled.

When I grilled 3 of the mutton bangers, they had a nasty smell, I checked the date, it was dated 1/11/2020, I realised the mutton bangers was spoiled.

I couldn't drive to the store just to return the Bangers. Petrol was gonna cost me more than the mutton bangers. And it would've been like I have thrown my R70 down the drain.

I still have the rest of the Bangers and I will return it to Checkers when I have time.
