Unhappy consumer!

I went to Checkers at The Atrium in Overport. I bought two prepacked sirloin steaks which had an expiry date to be the 7th August 2018! Got home opened the steak as I was going to prepare lunch... to my disgust the meat was rotten and the stench was putrid! I had to then go all the way back and what's so disappointing is that I'm not from overport! This simply means it was an extra cost to me that nobody will compensate me! I am utterly disgusted by the level of service I received!!!! All I was asked at the store was if I wanted a refund or an exchange? Is this how you treat your customers? Absolutely horrifying! I was then asked to fill in my details and I was informed that a regional manager will contact me ... and that was it!
