Unaccepted service and zero accountability from manager

<p>I am a regular Checkers client for the past 20 years.</p> <p> </p> <p>Saturday 14 January 2017 we bought vacuum packed pork belly at the Centurion Mall centre. Later the afternoon when we want to "braai" the meat, we discovered that the meat was rotten.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Sunday morning we took the meat back to Checkers at Centurion Mall. The manager (mr Koster (sic)) rep**** that he or the shop is not accountable or responsible for the rotten meat as</p> <p>(1) the butchery division does not belongs to Checkers (WOW - this is surprising!)</p> <p>(2) the fridges are 35 years old and therefore we can expect rotten meat! (the centre is not even 35 years old!)</p> <p> </p> <p>We were refunded without an issue, but the behaviour and attitude of the manager was unacceptable. </p> <p> </p> <p>Checkers has just lost a regular customer with an average montly spent of R15 000.</p>
