Yeses, if Checkers cannot provide withdrawal services they must let us know. A couple of times I have gone to the Chartwell checkers and always have a funny story of not being able to get cash. The biggest being “we do not have cash”.

Today being assisted by Nicky at till one, I greet her and ask that I want to make a withdrawal and immediately she hits me with the standard “I don’t have cash”, I then proceed to ask her (something I should not even do), can you please check with other cashiers, her response: “we don’t have cash today, the store has been struggling with cash”…. At freaking 16:45 she does not have cash? I then ask her to call her controller, as she calls her, she rudely points at my wife and I, as if we were there to ask for her grannies money. She then calls Mpho, when I ask for the store manager they try dribble me and call their friend claiming they don’t know where the store manager is.

All in all, I have to say, that this particular store never fails to disappoint me.

If they don’t want to do bank transactions they should let us know so that we can go to other stores where we are valued
