The nerve! Expired stock!

Went into Checkers, The Point, Sea Point this morning to buy cottage cheese. To my dismay upon returning to office and making breakfast I realised the cottage cheese was off. The BB date was 26 July 2021. I returned it to store I was told that I need to check the dates on items before purchasing!!!!!!
