Terrible Unhelpful and Dismissive Manager Client Engagement - Bram Fischer Store

Good Day, I was at your Bram Fischer Checkers a short while ago. One of the purchases I was intending to make was for the "BIC J6 Maxi Pocket Lighter 2 Pack (Color May Vary)" at the cost of R25.99.

This item is advertised as being a 1 + 1 Free for that cost of R25.99.

When I asked for the special, staff was un-aware of it. They kindly looked behind the counter for any units packaged as per the Checkers Adverti*****t. Nothing was found.

The manager, once called, stated it was only available through Online purchase, but the description clearly states:

"A classically designed, dependable, safer, and long-lasting lighter that holds up to 3,000 lights. It's superior satefty performance makes this the perfect choice for household use. This product is available in various colours, which may vary from those pictured. You'll receive a single item, chosen by one of our expert shoppers. Although you can’t currently specify which colour you’d like to order, we hope you'll love the surprise. If you’d like to shop for a specific color, please visit us in store."

I pointed this out to the Manager and the manager then became quiet defensive, unwilling and short/dismissive (like I was intruding on her day and she was to busy to help). The manager then proceeded to tell me that purchase was not available at the Bram Fischer Store and I showed her that when I connected to Checkers Website from my phone, it was the Checkers Bram Fischer Store which was selected (exactly the same as when connecting to the Checkers Website from my home PC. I asked if they could not provide from the numerous products visible in single packaging (1 unit) for the price advertised for the pack of 2. The manager made it clear there was no way I could get that purchase, even though it is advertised as such.

I have, as per attached pictures (which clearly indicates this fact), checked Online at 5 various stores randomly and have found exactly the same offer available.

I hope this can be amicably and honestly resolved as this is unlike the service level normally at the Bram Fischer Store. This is a matter of principle. Spiritual Principles.
