Terrible Service at Checkers Bracken Gardens

My partner tried to use my Edgar's Club Card at Checkers because I was unable to go out and was denied because they wanted identification. My card has a security pin on it, which he knows, why would this be necessary for a card with a pin? I just used it yesterday at this same store and was no such requirement. Will they require identification if I needed to use my bank card too? Because that's essentially what this would be like. Imagine going to the store and having to produce your ID for every card swipe even though a successful pin was put in.
