Terrible service

On the 2nd of April we went to Checkers, The Grove Mall. What a lovely appearance but the service is terrible. We wanted to pay for pancakes at the coffee bar. Nobody was available and we had to stand and wait. After about 10 minutes an employee came to assist. We were standing 3rd in the line. There was a space between us and the people in front of us because we were standing with a trolley and people was trying to move through to sit down at the tables. Another Checkers employee came and went to stand in front of us by the counter. I had a look and only saw a piece of paper, and something she has put down. I first thought she is just dropping something off for someone. She then took out a R100 note, wanting to pay for her food. My husband tapped her on the shoulder and said, excuse me, we are standing in the queue. The employee started arguing that she was standing behind the people that was in front of us. My husband said we've been standing there for quite some time, maybe she should fami****ise her with her surroundings before she just jumps the queue, and shouldn't her customers be served first? She was rude and very upset, and she kept standing in the queue. Because they were making coffee for some customers, it took a while. She eventually got fed up for waiting, took her food, and left. Terrible service! I will not go there again. Spar is on route, I will rather support them as I have never experienced bad service from them.
