Temperature abuse of chicken

<p>Today in checkers there was a pack of chicken peices that a customer had obviously returned but no one had made any effort to return it and a few checkers employees walked right past it. I did not return it myself as it was beginning to warm and I did not know how long it had been sitting out. The general rule of thumb for food is if it is a danger zone where it is above five degrees it can only sit out for about 2 hours after which it must be consumed or destroyed. This makes me question any meat I have ever bought at checkers. </p> <p> </p>
