Teller ***** Checkers Newcastle

I would like to bring to your attention, that I shopped at Checkers Newcastle on 08th December 2018. The teller dishonestly retained my bank card and gave my till slip folded as though my card was with it. I left the store , and returned to Johannesburg the next day Sunday 09.12.18 . I received a sms on Monday 10th December that an amount of R5000 cash was withdrawn at standard bank Newcastle . I checked my wallet for my bankcard and then realized that I last used it at checkers Newcastle. I instructed the bank to stop the card and contacted the store manager Sorenos Branch Manager at Checkers Newcastle. Sadly management in store at regional service was poor as they were aware of this incident ,and they viewed the camera footage when I informed them of the incident on the 10th December and conveniently erased the footage. The IT department was unable to retrieve it Due to their negligence of not saving a copy of the footage, I am unable to continue with the investigation of the case and the police also cannot proceed due to your management erasing the footage. I had appealed to the store for compensation as it was their staff that last handled my card. Their service was really poor and rejected my claim and requested I can address this at any level.
