Teammates is important then customers

Good day On the 1 st I have visit your store in kalahari Mall Upington in Northern Cape. I was so disappointed on the casher that assist me after i patiently waited for my turn to pay. She turned me away and told me i must go and pay to a different counter and just assist helping a team member that stood behind me helping her as if I'm invisible. I got so angry and just left my shopping there. Is that the way cashiers are there that they can tel customers where to pay and that helping a teammates before they customers .
