TAPPING AS METHOD OF PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

I have just come from Checkers where I purchased foodstuffs.

My concern is not purely Checkers but the fact that a Credit Card can just be tapped to pay for a transaction. This is a dangerous situation. My card was tapped without identifying me and without requesting my permission to do so. The cashier is and was totally oblivious as to the danger involved. It makes me think that the Banks (Credit Card divisions) are ******** and should stop this facility forthwith. If someone *****s my card he or she can go on a merry spending spree without anybody's knowledge until such time as I find out and stop the card. makes me think of years ago when they produced a pen (Replay) wher you could rub out the 'ink' and be able to change figures written on a cheque. This pen was immediately withdrawn from the market.
