Substandard packets and a manager that will not help

I spent over R400 at Checkers liquor buying 2 bottles Vodka, and a packet. I get home take the packet out and the bottle falls straight through the packet. Vuyo the manager at checkers liquor the Glen says there is nothing they can do as it didn't happen in the store. I find this absolutely ridiculous. Absolute terrible packets that Checkers give to people and you still get charged for substandard packets. Then they will not assist me in replacing the bottle that broke.
