Stale Cake Through Checkers60

How did Checkers make it right to deliver a stale cake? Ruined a whole office birthday treat. I live in Midrand and I use the Mall of Africa Checkers which is closest to my house and my workplace and I have never bought anything substandard from there so where did Checkers60 get that revolting cake? Mind you, the icing on it was fresh and tasty but the sponge?! We could have been eating sand because of how old and dry it was. I considered giving it away to a homeless person but it felt like disrespect to offer someone something that I myself was not willing to eat. I did lay a complaint through the app. I was refunded but that doesn't fix the facts of what this company did. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
