Spoilt Chicken

This evening I purchased wings (Festive fresh chicken) when I opened the package, the smell was off, I overlooked it, thought i was overthinking it. However the chicken smelt rotten, and was it also tasted rotten, had to throw the cooked chicken we planned to eat for dinner. All my wasted resources trying to cook that gruesome chicken. I'm very disappointed, I ended up purchasing take aways. Now I'm very afraid of opening the other chicken I purchased along with this one.
