Spoiled Chicken Soup

Dear Checkers, Cape Gate,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern about the chicken soup I purchased from your store on 9/7/2024. The chicken soup of the day that was prepared, had a sell-by date of 10/7/2024 but was visibly spoiled and unsafe for consumption.

Upon opening the container, I noticed an unusual amount of bubbles on the surface, which was accompanied by an off smell and sour taste. This is clearly a sign of spoilage and potential contamination. I am shocked and disturbed that this product was allowed to be sold in your store, putting customers health at risk.

I request that you investigate this incident immediately. Please take necessary actions to ensure that such products are removed from your shelves and that proper quality control measures are implemented to prevent future occurrences.

I did call your customer service last night to inform them about the issue. The lady seemed very never minded about the situation. I hope she informed the staff to removed it.

I expect a prompt response and resolution to this issue. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and inform me of the steps you will take to address it.
