So upset with Checkers!!!

Everytime I want to buy deserts there at the back, I get told that they are, "yesterday's ..". It so happened that we ended up one day telling them that we don't care and bought some. We got home that day and they were fresh as can be!! Are the staff telling you that so that they can take some home after shift on staff discount??? We bought pies today, which of one was a Cornish paste. We got home, and gathered to eat. Here at home the Lady eats her pie with a fork and knife. The knife barely touched the pie and it reeked like hell!! Went back to Checkers to see the manager, Where I got told that she just had one and that there is nothing wrong. I told her that if there is nothing wrong, then smell the pie and tell me in my face that there is nothing wrong. She then mumbled on how it'll ruin the banana loaf that she just had. Since when do people enjoy their pies with banana loaf?? I was offered the money back or another pie. Obviously I took the money instead and drove to Sasol Heidelberg for a pie not found else where! Very poor client service. Not even a, "sorry for the inconvenience sir". Will be doing my shopping else where.
