Sixty60 - Plumstead

This complaint is a direct result of one employee at Checkers Plumstead, Cape Town - Aliswa Ngamlene. I placed an online order at about 13:00 this afternoon and scheduled delivery for between 16:00 and 17:00. 30 minutes before the delivery was scheduled, I was notified through the app that 2 of products were out of stock - why was it advertised in the first place? I called the Plumstead branch and requested that the two items be replaced with 2 cheaper alternatives. There was absolutely no attempt made to try and solve this issue was advised to call a helpline. The manager came onto the phone and then shouted at me, raising her voice over mine. I requested that as she is in the store where I order is still being processed, would she not be able to contact the helpline to do the necessary - I was told this wasnt possible. Funny enough, it was possible for her to contact the helpline to cancel my order - how does this make sense. How this woman became a manager is mind boggling. She has absolutely no way of speaking to clients. No willingness to try and solve a problem. To put this simply - PATHETIC. Order number ***5. The order arrived as I typing this. One packet of burgers. Guess one of my kids doesnt get to eat.
