Sixty60 - no delivery
Why does Checkers advertise this service if they cannot deliver? I ordered goods to the value of +-R800 on Sunday morning (8h00, 29 March 2020). They reserve 15% above this value (to provide for differences in weight and alternative products). Immediately a reserved amount of over R900 was presented to my bank. Even though the delivery slot 14h00 was available no delivery was made. I tried phoning the Helpline 3 times and waited 10 minutes each time but I only got the response from the automated voice “all our agents is currently busy, try sending an email. I did - up to now Monday, 30 March at 17h00 no response)
This morning (30 March at 8h00) I received a message on the tracking app saying “we’re on it” with an ETA of 10h00. “If anything changes we will let you know”. Now only 9 of the 18 items I ordered was available. Up to writing this review (Monday, 30 March at 17h00) I have not received either the goods or any communication from the company.
I realise I am not the only shopper on the app in these days of lockdown but if you cannot deliver the service you promise then do not take additional orders and peoples money.
