Sixty60 deception

Good day Trust you are well. I bought dog food online. It is clear that their adverti*****t said that you have to buy two 8kg dog food and get one for free. My wife did exactly what they advertised. She bought two 8kg's online, but never got the free item. When I logged a call and they responded after I had to phone them. They said that we had to add all three items to the online basket, then the third one would've been for free. To me that sounds like buying three 8kg dog food and get the third one for free.... Clearly this is deceptive on there behalf.

I'm not sure if their advertising department did it deliberately to deceive the consumers or did they not take note that the adverti*****t was for online use and not for the physical shop!

In the physical shop one understands that you have to include the free item in the basket or you will be reminded by the cashier to include it. The online store don't have that luxury, thus the adverti*****t must be clear, seeing that you don't have an automated system that will add the free item. I don't know if this was done deliberately to confuse the consumer so that the company can make more money in a *****ed way or was it an honest mistake, by confusing online shopping to be the same as physically going into the shop itself.

All I'm asking for, is for the free item that was promised or for the financial reimbur*****t. The only reason why we bought the two bags of 8kg dog food is for the free 8kg dog food itself.
