Shockingly poor service and product quality.

Wow, i am still stunned! So i go to Checkers at New Market Mall in Alberton, buy my favourite dry wors. Point number 1, i had to wait at the butchery while the staff were having a very loud conversation among themselves, i should have taken this as a sign that things were about to go south, eventually one of them attends to me (later learned that this was the butchery manager), takes my order and gives me the dry wors, i go to the tills, pay and leave. When i get to the office, i find that the dry wors is of inferior quality (mind you i always buy dry wors from your stores), it is unbearably hard and almost flakes in your mouth if and when you manage to bite a piece off. i then drive back to the shop, ask for the manager who is nowhere to be found, the 2nd incharge, nowhere to be found too, third incharge, nowhere to be found as well, until eventually they find me some uninterested lady who barely listens to my complaint and sends me straight to customer service and calls the butchery manager. i meet the butchery manager at customer service, he recognizes me from when i bought from him, i ask if this is the quality aligned to the brand promise that Checkers gives to us as customers? he refuses to taste that horrific thing he gave to me, stating that he is not allowed to eat anything instore unless his manager approves, i ask him to call his manager, this one is also nowhere to be found, i ask again if as a butchery manager, through his naked eye, does this look like the quality we should be expecting from them? he emphatically says yes, i ask if he is proud of the product, he says absolutely with an attitude. Well to cut a long story short, i am shocked by the service even after giving them an opportunity to rectify their error, this led me to believe that the quality of products in this shop is of disappointingly low quality and in me you have lost a client and i am going to start actively advocating against anyone i know going to buy anything from this shop.
