Shocking increases by Checkers

I was totally shocked today when l went to buy my catfood. A 12 pack of Pamper gravy favourites. In one week the price went up from R84.99 to R95.99 an increase of R11.00 on one product. This is schoking, the consumer is sucked dry by these supermarkets. When this product is on special it sells for R69.99. I do not understand this.
