Shocking False Shop Lifting Accusation

Today (1/4/2024) at Checkers Hyper Westgate at 16:34 I had the most horribly humiliating experience. Went in to get 3 items as I was exiting my bag beeps, I then go back to the security so that he can check on what's causing to beep. There it was my nivea hand cream which I had bought at the very same checkers on 29/12/2023 at 16:39. Therefore, the security goes on to accuse me of *****ing the nivea and I kept insisting that I did not. He then proceeds to call the camera operator and head security. At that time the security and head operator have already made a scene, am then escorted to the manager's office named Chris who then accuses me of theft and at that point I was caving in to pay for it again just to avoid further drama. I then request footage of which the manager then decides to check proof of purchase as I had mentioned on my XtraSavings card and there it was my purchase. And yes, I did not get a formal apology. This type of behavior is totally unacceptable as I feel my personal space was *******ly violated. I did mention to Chris the manager that I will take it up at Head Office.
