Shampoo...Shocking

Good day<br> I have bought Salon quality shampoo from the store, a product that I buy often. I have found however that this time around when the product is used and hair is dry, I am left with a sticky crust of some kind not only on my hair but also on the sculp. The shampoo does not foam when using either. 3 people have used this same bottle that I bought and all 3 people have the same signs. This bottle clearly is a problem and it concerns me that all the stock on the shelf may be like this as well. I do not have a till slip any more so I have not gone back to try and sort this matter out, as well as living on the other side of town, it is a problem. HOW DO I SORT THIS OUT PLEASE?
