Sell by date

Went to checkers Cresta mall this afternoon (07-11-2025) and bought chicken mince and I never get to a habit of checking sell by dates as I trust the store that it will never sell meat over their expiry date.

Please tell me why, the sell by date of the mince is for the 6th of November 2025 and it is still on your fridge shelves for customers to buy?

I'm highly disappointed
