Sandton Checkers Hyper disappointment, again!

Customers that shop at the Sandton City Checkers Hyper please be very careful when purchasing baked goods from the store because you may find yourself in the same terrible situation as I find myself in.

I purchased a pack (6) of hot cross buns from the Sandton City Checkers Hyper branch this past Sunday. The sell by date on the label is the 28th of November 2018. I purchased the item, but only opened the packaged yesterday on the sell by date!

I am absolutely disgusted and shocked at the condition of the buns. They have begun to get mouldy underneath, while some parts are soggy! This is sickening.

The worst part is that the sell by date was marked for yesterday, which could only mean that the store is selling old baked goods to its customers.

This is totally unacceptable and maybe warrants a call to Wendy Knowler whom I'm sure will be able to get to the bottom of this.

Not too long ago I had an issue with spoiled beef mince from the same store and now this. I will not be shopping there again. Enough is enough.

People be warned. Your health is more important than savings.
