Safety - Security - NOT HELPFUL IN THE LEAST. YOU FEEL LIKE THE ******** AS A CUSTOMER!

Checkers Bayside today around 14.10 I entered Checkers to buy Airtime for my daughter as my phone had died and could not connect to my banking. I stood in the Q for at least 5 minutes as the person before me wanted a carton of cigarettes that were not behind the counter. His entitled to get what he requires, so the wait was long, but that's okay. A man behind me bumped into me, deliberately, and asked if I was the last in the Q. I said yes and thought, "How rude". Still not paying any attention to the bump, I proceeded to the till and asked for Telkom Mobile Airtime which I paid for, with my card which was on the side of my bag. I did not need to take my wallet out. I bought the Airtime and left, walked over to Cotton On, 30 seconds away. Gave my daughter her airtime and proceeded to get my wallet out my handbag to produce my Cotton On card. My wallet was gone. I directly went back to Checkers, asked, maybe I actually did take my Wallet out and left it on the counter. They said no. I proceeded to the Manager and asked her for assistance. She asked for Security to look on the monitors, as I requested. The "Security man" who was none other than disrespectful and rude, told me I was lying and that I came straight in to the counter and then went to the Manager. Yes, I did do that, the SECOND time around. He proceeded to say, no you did not stand in the Q. Keeping in mind, my wallet with everything in has just been ****** in your store and I am being called a ****. To cut a very long story short. Your head of security, whomever he was, made me feel like the ********. He was rude, very critical of me and made me feel even worse than I was currently was. Thinking of all the cards I have to stop, never mind that due to Level 3, we have no way of applying for a new Identity Document. No drivers, etc! Security is meant to be there to assist with Security, not only for your Store but security to the public too. Why do I feel so defeated after today!? I shall never return to your store. I was treated unfairly, I was treated with disrespect. I am drained from 2 hours waiting for footage to be told "there is no-one taking stuff out your bag." Well, yes, it's not Checkers fault we have violators, predators that violate our rights, this I know. ... but it is Checkers fault for not providing me with the safety I needed! The assistance I needed! I am drained mentally and emotionally! Thanks Mr Security Man!
