Safer

On the 28th of October 2020, I went to the Checkers in Centurion where I felt very uneasy as I was being followed by a strange man. I went to the cashiers and told them I am not done shopping, but I am feeling very uncomfortable. They called the manager who got a young man to escort me in the shop as I finished up my shopping. When I was done they escorted me to my car. I am happy that the manager did not see my skin colour or even perceive me as paranoid but he did all that he could to make my shopping experience better. Thank you to the gentlemen who helped me and Lesego who even packed the groceries into my boot.
