RUDE & UNFORGIVEN ACTIONS ON ELDERLY!!

My wife is a 64-year-old Caucasian who on a regular base visit our local Checkers in Raslouw, Centurion, Pretoria for buying our weekly & monthly groceries as pensioners. She had a Brain Tumer removed at Netcare Unitas Hospital in end 2016 which left her one side of the head without a piece of scull bone and therefore fragile for injuries of the head. We stay in Eldoraigne X17, Centurion, Pretoria.

Recently as the norm she visited Checker Raslouw branch and when she was standing looking for cooldrink in the beverage aisle a Caucasian male, unknown to her, came and look at the shelves. He decided to shift/pull a pack, she thinks, of "Red Bull" tins from the top shelve and by mistake let the whole big bag pack drop from the top onto the floor very very close next to my spouse, almost hitting her on the head, because she had to duck away. When the heavy pack hit the aisle floor close next to her some of the tins burst open of the hard blow/fall; jumped and sprayed the whole area with the gas liquid drink inside the tins and other rolled around on the wet floor.

The unknow Checkers Raslouw Caucasian worker just look at it, then to my wife and without saying anything turned around and walk to a Checkers Raslouw Black worker supposedly telling him to clean up because he came immediately towards my wife, and while wiping the floor and picking up the tins lying around where the accident happened looked at my spouse, sawing what have had happened and that my wife was now soaked wet in her private neat civilian outgoing clothes with the contents of the broken tins still dripping from her; saying "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Ma Goggo." My wife had a hell of a fright and only then start crying of it but kept her posture and left everything in the trolley she was buying just there and being Publicly humiliated in her now sticky wet clothes walked through the shops & parking area to where her car was parked and drive quickly back home.

At home she had to take off all her clothes, etc and put it immediately in the washing machine to clean and then had to go and bath again because she baths always before going to town or going out. Thereafter she decided not to go and finish the shopping but to go and lay down as she started to have an anxiety attack with a hell of a headache due to the stress of the incident that just happened and almost injured her physically.

What is worse for me is the fact that the unknown Checker Caucasian worker, who might have been a manager or supervisor of sort had no remorse or manners of what happened due to his negligence and not observing around him when he did what he has done. Even afterwards seeing the almost costly OHS risks outcome of my spouse's condition and what the spill has done to her; NO EXCUSE or Sorry Mam but just a look and walk away as he has no care in the world. I wish I was there but then I would have been in trouble because his actions could have killed my spouse, but I guess by his attitude of being in power a Dr/Neurosurgeon will have to tell it to him to take cognisance. Nevertheless, it most definitely has shocked the living lights out of her and left her in the cold dripping wet and sticky, feeling like a nothing because of her elderly age and being a woman. Maybe this Checker Raslouw Caucasian male need to be learned by his subordinate unknown Black worker what just good manners & respect for the elderly mean. What Christian fellowship is all about and good discipline. How to handle incidents of this nature in a business field. What was his upbringing teaching him or would he have acted the very same when it could have been his mother? I truly wonder what Mr Christo Wiese would have said of such a worker of him or if it had to happen with one of his relatives. CHECKERS, I am angry, very angry and so disgruntled with the way this incident was just blind eyed!! Remember, the elderly of today were the leaders, planners, strategists and ****orkers of yesterday who safeguarded, build and carried your inheritance. START HAVING RESPECT!! To the Checkers Caucasian male (luckily my spouse does not want to or really do not recall your face due to her brain operation) unknown to us; you caused us not just pain, sorrow and additional costs BUT you caused us sorrow for the feature generation's actions. If you are a man, you will go and say sorry to my spouse when she visits Checkers Raslouw again to do her weekly/monthly shopping OR are you the mouse what you showcased that day?
