Rotten Meat,Unfriendly service

Good day. I would like to take this Oppertunity to write this review.I went to Checkers at Kena Square to buy some groceries,i bought Some Rump steak to braai the sameday 9th Off August. The Afternoon we had some familie over and was busy preparing for the braai,after opening the first packet off steak ,The worst smell hit me right in the nose,this steak was totally off and the expiry day was only the 18th off August.I stay quite a distance from this Checkers and was totally not on the mood to drive back,as the fire was already made.I took the Steak back the following day to get back my refund.Checkers Manager helped me but also very unfriendly,she took me to the back where they prep the meat,and she spoke to the manager in her language and he did not apologize or shown real interest to even look at the rest off the batch meat where i originally took the meat from.Im utterly discussed with the way this matter was handled. I Surely wont but meat At this checkers again as their expiry date does not meet their actuall expiry date,it is an inconvinience to drive all the way back,wasting fuel and energy. Hope that Checkers head office can resolve this matter to prevent Current customers experience the same service as what i Did.
