Rotten Meat

I usually buy my groceries every month at checker Bay west Mall Port Elizabeth, I have even started using the checkers60 app to purchase a few goods.

This past Saturday 04/12/21 i purchased some goods including meat. When we wanted to use the meat for Sunday lunch to our surprise the meat was starting to rot and smelled absolutely disgusting.

For A-grade meat and for such a huge store to sell such rotten meat to their loyal paying customers is disappointing . Imagine if my family had to consume the meat.

Because its a distance to drive back to the store, I didn't even bother to go through all that effort and waste my time and petrol .

This experience definitely puts a damper on me wanting to purchase anything of the sort from checkers, this has really been disappointing.

They definitively did not live up to their slogan this time.

" Better and better every time But it doesn't stop there; we make sure every shopper enjoys value for their money by keeping the prices of basic commodities low."

Selling rotten meat definitely is no value for money .
