Rotten Meat

On 12 January I bought a bulk pack of beef steak from Checkers at Westgate in Johannesburg. I returned home and was preparing supper for my daughter and I. We opened the cling wrap and a horrible odour came out of the package. I picked up the first piece of steak and smelled it. It seemed to be OK. As I reached for the second piece. I could see some strange colouring on the one side and when I smelled this piece I realised where the odour was coming from. This piece was rotten. <br> I am disgusted by this as it was clearly hidden under the fresher meat so that the buyer could not see it.<br> I am a paraplegic and I do not have my own transport so I have not been able to go back to the store to take this meat back. It has been sitting in my freezer ever since.<br> I have tried calling the manager of the store but s/he is never available.<br>
