Rotten food

Yesterday I went to Checkers Arrarat Road Welkom and bought a thew things. Of the items bought was a Pork roast and Cauliflower. On getting home to make lunch and prepare the roast I saw that the cauliflower was rotten on opening the pack so I had to through it away. Putting the roast in the oven I smelt something not right but left the roast to cook. On opening the oven to take out the roast the smell of the meat was terrible also rotten or something and I had to through it away as well. My question is don't these stores have regular quality checks, seems not, really disappointed as I always do my months shopping at this store.
