****** by a merchantdiser

On 29 August, my 10 day old baby and I went to do grocery shopping at Checkers Hyper on 14th Ave.

We were supposed to meet my husband after work so I put my phone and wallet into the nappy bag and was constantly checking my phone.

At about 11:04 I checked my phone. Then baby needed a diaper change. I went to security and asked them to keep an eye on my trolley.

In the diaper room, after the change, I discovered that my phone was missing. After unpacking & checking everything twice, I realized my phone is ******.

The problem I face is that I don't know hubbies number by heart & he would not know where to find us.

Luckily as I walk out, he walks up & down, trying to phone me.

We put the tracker on and saw that my phone was already in Edenvale.

We asked for security footage & discovered that there is only 16 working cameras in Hyperama.

You can see the merchandiser's hand in my bag, taking the phone. He knows exactly where the camera's blind spot is & how to keep his face off camera.

I'm very mad as there are irreplaceable photos on the phone.

I also do not appreciate the way management handled the situation. You know who work where in your store & if you do not take action against that person, you are just as guilty as they are!
