Ridiculous Decisions

I have shopped a Checkers Emmarentia since the store opened over 35 years ago. I am a loyal customer who spends on average R10000 per month there. The current manager is amazing and is always available to help. However, I have been faced with two issues recently which he does not control. I am referring to the fresh fish counter. Since the beginning of this year I have been unable to buy Kingklip. I was told a few months ago by the fish controller that it has been removed from his ordering list and only Hypers can order Kingklip. Who is the "rocket scientist that took this ridiculous decision"? Then this last week I could not get any small/medium East or West Coast soles. I was told that these have now also been removed from the ordering list. I normally purchase these two and hake every week. Are Checkers looking to close down the fresh fish counters in the supermarkets? It certainly looks like it. Jeff Stern
