Retailer Group Giving back to the Community.

Checkers/Shoprite Group, It's not always all about the 'Bottom Line'. This Retail Group has given back to the community that supported them throughout the tough competition. Now recently when the whole world was suffering, this group decided to support and give back to the community in many various ways, often not counting the cost, They sent out through the way they handled their customers, who now due to the Lockdown was in a 'bad place' as they had all sorts of difficulties, like transportation, pension collection and obtaining various needed home supplies. They made sure their customers adhered to the shopping rules ( at their expenses) set out by the Government. Let certain staff take early leave or app**** for those less fortunate to be able to collect from the UIF. Kept their prices competitive.
