<p>I have written to Checkers before but they do not respond. Why is it almost impossible for me to find chicken that is not halaal? Eating halaal food is contrary to the faith of many Christians and Sikhs. Some atheists also take offence. Then there are lots of people who object to the way halaal slaughter is carried out. Checkers is telling all South Africans to submit to Islam or go hungry. This is disgusting, oppressive and unconstitutional.</p>
