Refused to exchange koo products recalled by Tigerbrands

I took my koo bakes beans to Checkers Centurion Lifestyle as recalled by Tigerbrands. They refused to exchange the baked beans saying Tiger brands did not inform them. At first they said they wanted a receipt, then they said Tigerbrands did not inform them. I mean who keeps a receipt for food bought over 6 months ago. They even had the audacity of asking me why did I buy so many cans of baked beans.When I buy a lot of things they don't ask why but when it time to exchange they ask stupid questions. Poor customer service.
