Refusal to return earphones

on 17/06/2015 i went to checkers hyper in Menlyn and bought earphones. The earphones work on my phone but do not work on my laptop. I went back to checkers on 19/06/2015 with the till slip and the casing that the earphones came in to return them for a working pair, The customer services attendant did not even bother to hear my story and told me to bring the original packaging with. I don't have the original packaging as the till slip does not state that i need to have the original packaging but that i should keep the till slip as proof of purchase which i kept. I know from my experience of buying electrical goods that it is clearly communicated to you and written on your receipt that you need to keep the original packaging in case you need to return it, this was not done at checkers.<br> <br> When buying the earphones i asked the aisle attendant if the earphones will work on both my phone and laptop and he agreed, otherwise i would not have bought them.<br> <br> <br> I am highly disappointed by the service i received at checkers!!!!<br>
