Refusal of cash withdrawal

I was at checkers manlyn earlier on. I wanted to to withdraw money from my Nsfas card. I went to a cashier asked for a cash back of R1000 she told me to wait as she was calling one of her supervisor to assist her. While I was waiting she then asked me which card I will be using, I told her I will be using my Nsfas card. She rep**** with an attitude and told me they are no longer giving away cash back from Nsfas, I asked why, she failed to respond and called her supervisor. The supervisor came and she was not aware of what she was talking about. She then went to other ladies to ask, she came back saying they don't have money. What I'm failing to understand is why should we as students be treated so bad when we are asking for cash back from checkers? Are we not allowed to withdraw our money with checkers anymore? Because I have never received such bad treatment with other shops more especially PNP they have never given any problems with a withdrawal. Unfortunately I did not take the name of the cashier. I have never felt so undermined like that before.
