Re: Expired / Smelly Deli Product

To whom it may concern,

On the 02 May 2020, about 11:30am I had been to the Deli to purchase "smoked chicken loaf"

1. The lady initially gave me the wrong cold meat "chicken paprika"

2. The amount that she had weighed seemed incorrect

3. The slices were like as if it was crumbs very thin like a stand of hair.

4. There was only 5 slices for R21.11

I'm certain that this is not exceptional services provided by your staff members.

Most importantly this chicken loaf had a funny smell "off" as if it was kept for a long period of time.

My baby which is 2 years old has ate this chicken loaf during the afternoon period and fell ill and was rushed to our local GP who confirmed this was due to her eating the chicken loaf which was expired/off.

Please note this has now landed me more money being spent on the GP.

In terms of Health and safety this is unacceptable.

I shall be reporting a complaint case with the ombudsmen should I not receive your response within 14 days herein.

I have pictures of the product in question to which is evident that the product sold was not to its standard.
