Rancid wine from Checkers Davenport

Today (26.04.2022) i went to checkers in the Davenport centre in Glenwood to get some wine. I usually buy the 3l dutoitskloof pinotage, merlot, canernet blend. When i got home and opened the box i noticed that there was immediately something wrong. The wine was a dark brown instead of the inky red it usually was and there was a noticeable sediment. It also smelled terrible. I am not sure if this is an issue with dutoitskloof or improper storage but this has happened to me a few times before at the Davenportcheckers. I eventually switched to getting this wine from Spar in the Glenwood village centre, and have had no issues with them, but today they were sold out so i decided to try checkers again. I am disappointed to say it was a complete waste of time and money and i am really disappointed in general. I feel like as a retailer you should be able to ensure that your products are safe for consumption. I have poured it down the drain because it seem dangerous to drink
