Queuing for one or two items

Queues. When will checkers catch up with modern technology and the rest of the world with your queuing systems? The "snake" queue makes so much sense. Instead I have to stand with my 1 or 2 items behind someone who either has a full trolley of something goes wrong at the till etc. You had a golden opportunity at your new Noordheuwel store which you missed.

Please done tell me about express tellers as mostly they are NOT manned the whole time. Always on lunch or tea. Surely each store should be told the express teller should be open ALWAYS. And please don't ask me which branch cause ALL of them fail. The guy at Cradlestone got it right for a while but again last Friday peak traffic at 13h00 and it was closed. Its quite frustrating and so much so that I most probable will be moving over to Pick and Pay. I stay in a retirement village and this complaint seems quite common.
