Questionable advertising

The concept of a loyalty card is to entice shoppers to be loyal by offering discounts. Why Checkers would fall into the oldest trap of advertising products at a discount and then hiding the small print at the bottom of their advertising is baffling. As an example why place a prominent advertising board,at least 800 mm long and 300 mm wide on the prepacked nuts with a large font "Buy any three and get a 20% saving"and then right at the bottom in a small font only applies to 30 gram packs .Bizzarely of the 40 lines on the shelf it appears one line was 30 grams. A real shame and testament to how consumers can be caught out.
