Promised Mega box of Pampers - still not there

I've been to Checkers Hyper in Parklands four times now to buy a Mega box of Pampers nappies that are advertised on their brochure for R299. Not only is the brochure incorrect (with the number of nappies per box), but every time I've asked the managers about stock they tell me it's coming in the following day. The last time I was there, they had taken down the display altogether. I then asked Jerome where they are and he took my number and assured me that he would phone me the following day ( Wednesday). I asked him not to make promises he can't keep, but he said no, he would definitely phone. Well I've heard nothing. Why advertise something that you can't have available, and then make promises you can't keep? This is deceiving and a waste of my time. I went to buy them at Makro instead, where the same pack is slightly cheaper anyway. The other thing about this store, is that there are more and more barcodes missing from the shelves, which means you have to constantly scan products yourself - and then they sometimes don't register on the scanner anyway. These guys must pull their socks up.
